William Jackson, a lifelong Louisa, Kentucky resident, is a Senior Counselor and Attorney at Law. He has held various political, civic, and church roles, focusing on improving Sandy Valley. Jackson has twice appeared before Congress for Appalachian welfare and published articles for several universities and Prentice Hall. This is his second book. A member of Hilltop Methodist Church for over 75 years, he has served as historian for more than 40 years. But beyond his professional and civic roles, William Jackson’s family life is a cornerstone of his identity. Married nearly 60 years to Beverly, he has two daughters, several grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, all of whom he cherishes deeply.
